A Review of Romans 1-7
A review of Romans is in order as we begin a new quarter and we have those joining us who have been teaching downstairs. So far, we have covered chapters 1 through 7, in which the author Paul explains several fundamental elements of the gospel and the Christian’s faith. The gospel offers salvation to everyone who would obey it. The problem is man’s unrighteousness, which subjects us all to God’s righteous judgment. No one is righteous, therefore we all need the justification Jesus offers through God’s grace. God’s grace is intended to change us from the inside out. Sin must be defeated, and that is only possible through Jesus Christ.
